This magnetometer is installed on a farm in the King Country, and serves as our main view of the magnetic fields occurring in the Central North Island. Data transmission from this site can be patchy at times, due to poor 4G coverage, this data is not lost, but will be slightly delayed. Due its location on an active farm, this magnetometer is one of our noisiest, and is contaminated by electric fence and traffic noise. Due to factors outside of our control, this electric fence noise has got significantly worse in recent times – see the relevant Documents page for information on ours efforts to remove this noise.
